Mayweather v Marquez

I love Marquez as a boxer.
Against anyone else, he shines brightly, but Mayweather is just too good a boxer.
Doesn't waste punches, and moves out of the way regardless of how many are coming his way.

I think Pacquiao needs to be a little concerned.
 
i thought floyd was class and to make marquez look average was a credit to floyd because marquez is top quality.

his defence was awesome and his movement was also fantastic and i watched last nights fight as a neautral unlike when hatton fought him and i can now see in the cold light of day why mayweather beat ricky so easy.

ive never liked mayweather but he has won me over and hope he gets it on with manny ASAP
 
I kind of had a feeling that it would end up this way. I initally thought about buying this match until the Diaz-Paulie Malinaggi fight. 5 months before Diaz-Paulie, Diaz pummeled Marquez for 4-5 rounds and Diaz is a soft puncher who was exposed as a tomato can by Malinaggi (Diaz ended up winning 3 corrupt judges to 0, even Diaz's mom and dad new that he lost).

Marquez for all his accolades often comes up small in big fights. Remember this is the same guy who's claim to fame is drawing (he actually lost but because a judge can't do basic math it was called a draw) and losing to Paciaquo and that was way back when Pac-Man was a one-trick pony who didn't know the 1st thing about how to box.

Pac-Man is going to KO Cotto in 5 or less, (setting up a possible Hatton-Cotto fight which maybe would be a decent fight) despite the weight difference.

If a Pac-Man-Mayweather fight comes to fuition I think Mayweather wins if the fight is in 2010 but if its in 2011 or beyond Manny wins cause Floyd will be another year older and Manny will still be in his prime (remember Manny still has tricks to learn and can get even better).
 

If Armstrong cannot take a holiday without accusations, how can Mayweather? Faster hands that Roy Jones Jnr. And he was proven a drugs cheat. And for a cat amongst the pigeons, three of Bolts running pals were found guilty of using performance enhancers a month ago. We all like a fairy tale, but Jackanory does not write the history books.
 
Armstrong is old. Mayweather is in his prime. And I imagine he trained real hard to get back to his level.

I seriously doubt he is a cheat. He is just a talented boxer.

Mosley used roids and the book on him was that when he used he became slower and heavier when he used. He got off the roids "supposedly" and immediately became a better boxer. Vargas also used roids and it didn't help him too much. Roids can help you in the heavier weights, it helped James Toney b/c gaining say 15 pounds won't move you up a few wt. classes.

I don't like Mayweather but both he and Armstong are completely different athletes. Armstong wasn't much of a cycler until after he came back from cancer treatment and became a world beater thanks to meds. Granted in cycling if you aren't doping you aren't winning. Mayweather has always been a prodigy.
 

Mayweather was simply too good for Marquez and way too fast, the scary thing for Pacman is that Mayweather made Marquez look so poor esp when the dude had almost beaten Pacman.

If Pacman fights Mayweather expect the same treatment :P
