Charro

Player Valuation: £35m
Starting matched betting this month.

Just getting to grips with all the terminology at the moment, and what exactly I need to do.

Anyone partake in this? Any advice on the best sites/guides to use and all that.

Cheers

Just a thought - would it be a good idea to keep tracks of any offers and post them here?
I get a free fiver off betfair sports book and betfair exchange virtually everyday.
Fiver off sky every Monday.

When Rory Mcilroy is even money favourite going into the last round..

Back someone else.

You can have all the fancy formulas in the world, but this will make you money.

Also, I’m going to be smashing the penalty to be awarded market in the Prem this season.

VAR will be incredible early on.

What odds is that usually?

Lad at work does it, about a half hour a day or so. It's not as big a cash cow as some would have you believe, but as long as you are prepared to put in the time, it's a decent return - he made about £600 in 6 or 7 weeks which was a nice top up to his holiday spending money.

I keep saying I should do it.

...i’m sure it’s good, but I’ll stick in my comfort zone of backing big prices to small stake. Lots of fun, a bit of interest and usually decent returns for me.

In a average month would you say you make a “wage” or it simply a small supplment at best

Dont have to go into great detail if you dont want to just intrested as you do call a fair few winners!

...tbh, i’ve never bothered keeping tabs or looking at it that way. I will say, one big pay-out certainly covers my entire year and in recent times i’ve certainly been doing that at Cheltenham and Aintree.

I rarely back anything that’s a single figure price, except in my Saturday Lucky15 when i might throw a 7 or 8-1 shot in. It’s entertainment for me. i’m a punter who usually expects to lose so I have no issue if like this weekend I don’t have a winner.

I don’t gamble every day, I like having a bet and a pint and my outlay for a Saturday is probably around £50. Bets on by 9am, rarely have another after that. I suspect the bookies have beaten me over my betting life, but it won’t be by much and it’s given me loads of fun.
