It's hard e bay is your only option, they are getting rare on car boots now, any true blue will want to hold on to them, I lost all mine when I came home from work, and my mum had given three shoe boxes away - cried a bit!

It's my dad's 70th birthday next year, I'm trying to collect a program from opening day for each year he's been alive as a surprise.
Anyone got ideas for the best places to look?

Upstairs in St Luke's Church, Goodison Road before Goodison home games has an old EFC programmes stall that will be glad to help you.

Be aware that any EFC programmes pre-1960 are significantly more expensive due to rarity.

You shouldn't have too much trouble with the later years say 1965 to the present day, but from 1945-1960 will be harder
and the farther you go back the more it will cost you. Good luck, they will make a wonderful birthday present.

On the subject of match day programmes, I've got a trunk full in the loft.
I've also got loads of 'The Evertonian' from when it was first introduced as a newspaper in the days before it became a glossy magazine.
May dig them out later in the week and see what I've got.

Thanks for the replies. I've got most from 80's and 90's when we had season tickets, and some from 60's and 70's. The later are easy to get, but it's gonna be a grind to get them from '46 to 60.
I've got nearly a year to get it done.
