Hard to believe that's the same Sissoko that sucks hairy balls every week for Newcastle. He looks excellent for France!

Still massively impressed with the German right-back, Kimmich. Playing out of position and still looks very, very good. I'd like to see us go for him.
He plays for Bayern Munich, don't be daft.

I've addressed this point elsewhere in another thread, but in summary:

He has started a roughly equal number of games as a centre half and also as a central defensive midfielder. Bayern are absolutely stacked in both of these positions and have in the last couple of weeks purchased a new player in each of those positions, at £26m each. Making an enquiry wouldn't hurt, because he actually faces a lot of competition for a starting place at Bayern in the upcoming season.

Wasn't Germany's night. Whatever they tried did not come off. Thought about the free kicks they had, do they not have any who can have a good pop at goal/

IMO this lot not a patch on the Germany of a few years ago.

I'd say about 3 stars. Nothing special. Germany were pounding France for almost all of the first half and then once France got the penalty it felt like a fait d'accompli. I may be overrating this for the Michael Ballack squirming at half time
Nice one mate! Don't need the d' though!!

would venture there isn't any position(including their backups) that any player on ze German national team wouldn't vastly improve besides striker.
