I think that Wales were set back hugely by the tragic death of Gary Speed. Were Speedy still with us, I reckon they would be having a much better stab at this group to be honest. Coleman has tried his best but the side was clearly rocked by the death of Speed and they've had to start all over again really.
I think they'll get it together in time for Euro 2016 but I think Brazil is now sadly too much of an ask. As I said earlier, they'll need Croatia to crash and burn to stand any chance of making the play-offs and I don't think that will happen.
Scotland have more of an uphill climb I think but I think Strachan will be able to get the team playing so long as he's given the time to do it. I can see the SFA perhaps not having as much patience with him than previous managers
