So here we are in the semi finals of Euro 2012. I'm not even going to mention the E word as it's just going to wind me and everyone else up. Even more important it has nothing to do with this game!
I've been on holiday to both Spain and Portugal and had an excellent time in both places. Spanish birds are quite filthy and Portugeuse ones look sweet, but we can tell that they aren't. They are the sort who look like butter wouldn't melt. But really they make the butter and put where they want. You know what I mean.
Ah Ronaldo you devlishly talented one man band. He's well good isn't he? Like really really good. If I was asked who I would want at Everton, him or Messi, I really think i'd go Ronaldo. Not sure why. I just would. Before now he's never really shone in the red of Portugal, but it could be argued he's single handedly got them to the Semis here. He does have some decent back in GOT's very own love child Joao Moutunho and the snidiest defender of all time Pepe, but really take Ronaldo out, and Portugal go out in the group stages. FACHT.
And onto our World and European Champions the really exciting Spanish team. I say exciting, but i really mean stop passing about really slowly without taking a shot and making me fall asleep so mrs ijjy turns over for Corrie, Spain. This tournament has seen a bit of a turn in people's opinions of Spain and their 'style'. Obviously Adrian 'Chewing a Wasp' Chiles and Hanson and the like cream themselves every time they touch the pitch, but the everyday fan has become quite bored with it. I know I have. What's the point in smashing everyone with 90% possession when you only actually win 1 or 2 nil? Obviously if Everton did this I wouldn't care a jot. But Everton aren't alledgedly the best team in the world are we? Not yet anyway. Why don't they just smash everyone 6-0? You feel like they could. But decide not to play with an actual striker, the massive cocky barstewards. Even when they bring a striker on it's Torres, who can only score past an international team that has Glenn Whelan and Keith Andrews as first choice centre mids (no offence meant). I can't imagine how pissed off Fernando Llorente must be right now.
I've just given Spain a right bashing there. Fact is they'll still probably win here, and only Bry's Germans can seemingly stop them. Personally I hope Ronaldo and the chubby Veloso really turn up and give them a game. If they sit back this will be just like every other Spain game. Pass pass pass pass JUST SHOOT YOU MORONS. Best thing that could happen in this is an early Portuguese goal.
Time for some ladies.
That's quite close actually. I hope this game is too. Like 4-4 or something.
