First of all, I'm not even sure that's the right badge for Montenegro. I googled it and it came up with about 39 different things, but that one came up the most.
Best not to go on about the San Marino match too much. They are drivel and it's not even their fault. The arguement for these nations to have some sort of pre qualifying seems fair to me. I'm sure their lads enjoyed getting some boss shirt souveniors but what about when they play Slovenia and still get smashed? Not sure there's much fun to be had there.
Anyway, 3 points to the English!

So onto the big one. Which seems insane to say that playing Montenegro but the big one it is. They are the main challengers to England in Group H and won their match on Friday 1-0 away to Moldova despite being down to ten men. The tits.

I've had to Google where this place is too. It's one of them countries. You know, one of them. Over there. Faux Yugoslavia and all that.
Problem being that despite not being a real country they are not bad at togger.

The problem is they play in a small, intimidating stadium, that got the better of Rooney the last time out. It's a bit like visiting The Dell when Le Tiss was scoring worldies without actually moving. Except now we have to be wary of Mirko Vucinic and Steven Jovetic, the latter being the absolute mutts especially. Rooney needs to keep his head in what will be another hostile venue, and they will no doubt go out to try and wind him up early on.

Then we come to this guy. The Montenegro coach, Branko Brnovic. Who in every interview so far has come off sounding like an arrogant A-hole. Not that he has to show England any respect, but the things he's been coming out with are beyond ridiculous. I'm not scared of his team. Bar the two previously mentioned who have we really heard of? His comments have riled me, and I hope they rile the English players too.

As for the England line up. It pretty much picks itself. Baines did well last game, but you can bet your bottom dollar Cole will play instead. Meh, better for Everton that really so it's all good. Gerrard will come back in, and I expect Lescott and Smalling to continue and the back. Who is really bothered about Rio? Ferdinand that is. Not the city, which is what we are all hoping for.
Could you imagine the stress a play off will bring? I can't handle that, especially as it looks like there will be some decent teams in that. So let's just get this won and have some pointless friendlies instead of heart pounding play off matches.
