Think everyone has gone a bit over the top with that, if one of those chances in the first half go in people would be going overboard about how we've got a chance of winning the bloody thing. Theres not a lot you can do when a team puts 10 men behind the ball like that, we're not the only side to have been held like that at the tournament, Germany Spain France have all found it hard to break teams down aswell. I fancy our chances against teams who come out to attack us.
By the way is it just me that just cant onto this Dele Ali hype? He does nothing everytime i watch him, oh and he seems like an absolute whiff.

Finally someone who reasons with me. Was wary of upsetting the new English darling

Roy has made a right ballsup. Draws against two crap teams and a win against Wales more by luck than judgement.......

Roy does deserve the criticism for the changes in the last game but we have played three teams who have not come out to play any football of note. All of have stuck 11 men behind the ball with the hope of nicking a point. This game plan is their prerogative and is certainly more noticeable with the new format (which doesn't lend well to exciting games) England's performances i do not think have been as bad as the results suggest. Hopefully what with how the draw has opened up (us having France, Spain, Germany and Italy in our side) should mean teams playing more expansive football allowing us to hit on the counter which appears to be what we are best at.

Roy clearly needs to work out a solution when teams only want to defend but i feel the performances have been better and more encouraging than what most of the pundits/journalists etc are making out.
