Brazil are not favourites for this tournament. If I had to pick somebody, I genuinely can't

germany have looked the most like winners so far. as good as netherlands were, i don't think they'll win it, but not many gave them a sniff to start with. france looked really impressive too, but it was only hondorus, a lot of others have just looked very good,

Mexico really impressed me, more than Brazil. Neymar is the only real standout player they have.

That's true.

He's a typical Youtube Montage Goalkeeper. He does crazy saves, but he isn't too aware of basic goalkeeping

He is kind of like that Serbian keeper who was at Wigan in 2010.

When Ochoa signed for Ajaccio their club website crashed because of the high demand for Ochoa shirts.

He's like a god in Mexico.

Very quickly taken a massive dislike to Brazil here. The entire team cheats almost non-stop. So much diving, so many snidey fouls followed immediately by feigning injury in an attempt to avoid being carded for the foul. They are awful to watch and thoroughly deserve to get knocked out. I thought Mexico were surprisingly good and defended well without parking the bus. The keeper will get all the plaudits, but there were several other good performances in that team.

As an aside, the alternative commentary on radio 1 via the red button is incomparably better than anything else. The Benny Hill theme tune was inspired stuff.

I reckon Brazil need a bit more creativity in central midfield, maybe bringing in someone like Hernanes for Paulinho.
