For some reason Lennon's black boots bother me.

He also reminds me of a headless chicken.

I am ashamed of these thoughts.
ALL Footballer's boots should be black.
They should also wear shorts that finish just below the knee, have proper haircuts that aren't plastered up in Brylcreem, a good solid manly moustaches and have proper names like 'Charles', 'Algernon' and 'Bertram'
I may be a little old fashioned in this view but it's the best thing for discipline in the squad.

To me, it's quite clear, and I see Martinez's point entirely on Mirallas. Mirallas should only be used as a starter in a game in an emergemcy. His game is to hold onto the ball and be direct; his initial thought is not to find a team mate in a better forward position, it's to move forward with the ball himself. Deulofeu carries the ball, but only up until such a point when releasing it makes greater sense than retaining it.
Yet somehow he is second only to Baines (by 3 or 4 I think) in number of assists provided since September 2012. And on about three THOUSAND fewer minutes' play than Baines, and having taken far fewer corners / free kicks.

Quite the conundrum.

Anyway, back to the thread - Lennon MotM for me. Excellent display from start to finish.
