Mr Anthony Taylor from Wythenshawe greater Manchester officiates this festive fixture. It's his first Everton game to my knowledge and is also quite new to the premiership. On 18th Sept 2010 he took charge of Blackburn and Fulham at Ewood Park. the match ended 1-1 but Taylor was heavily criticised by both managers for reportedly for failing to see a handball outside the penalty area by Fulham goalkeeper Mark Shwarzer in the 7th minute and later awarding Blackburn the opening goal despite an apparent foul on Schwarzer
