The Premier league's most popular match referee Howard Webb takes to the Wembley turf to officiate the most important game of Everton's season so far. He has already this term been in chrage of 4 Everton games, the last being the win over Fulham in the 4th round of the FA Cup back in late January (lucky omen perhaps).
He will be assited by Mr Peter Kirkup and Mr M Mullarkey and on the line as the 4th official will be Mr Lee Mason.
Howard Webb's record to date is 42 games issuing 142 yellow and 5 red cards.

He may be strict but i'd rather somebody strict and consistent than some of the other sh*te refs in this country. And the Kopites absolutely hate him.

...so he might try and even things up.

I know we've never really been on the end of one of his 'bad one's', but you never know what's around the corner.

Like losing control of a World Cup final.

Doubt it. He has nothing to prove, and he's refereed plenty of United and Liverpool games without feeling the need to do so.
