If Arsenal win tonight they will get 4th - if Spurs beat West Ham, they will be on level on point with us but we have a better goal difference. Spurs last games is against Villa who would be playing there 3rd game in 8 days - we play hull who also play there 3rd game in 8 days and have the cup final to think about (hopefully we beat Hull and get 5th place)

Have a look at the table. We need 1 point from 2 games to guarentee europa, not 6.

Exactly, which I don't think either will do.

This is Everton. Let's not root for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Yes, Europe is mostly assured, but I'll be happier when it is mathematically certain.

And if they do again I'll be less concerned about us losing to City, still will want to win.

I have no problem with other people wanting us to lose (causing no harm to ourselves) so they don't win. I personally don't ascribe to that viewpoint, but I respect it. I do have a problem with people wanting us to lose (causing harm to ourselves) so they don't win.

If you think the former is the case - fair enough. But I don't. Yet.

exactly....5th spot is the bag..... we'll comfortably beat Hull anyways, there's no better team in football when it comes to playing AFTER the pressure is off...

They way our lucky is going with Injuries, lets not rule out we can still finish 7th.
