2. The commentator had the audacity to claim it was debatable the ball had crossed the line despite the slow motion replay in the background showing it CLEARLY had.

3. Shearer pretty much branded Jagielka a cheat, this despite Makoun leaving his leg out and making NO CONTACT WITH THE BALL YET CATCHING THE PLAYER. It was a PEN!

Agree with this, the advantage should be to the attacker in situations like this, if you stick a leg out and obstruct a player like that in the box it's a penalty, end of. Shearer calling anybody a cheater is pot calling kettle back indeed.
