They tend to place a large amount of small bets, i think.

Probs true

They wouldn't put a large bet on because surely the bookies will have a system in place. If a bet over 10k gets placed it will flag up and they can check it out.

I've been researching 'Arb Betting' today, looks very interesting. You can't lose as its below 100%

It already has mate,Hans segers,Grobelaar,Fashanu scandal. Some would say we would have been relegated without it.
Wages are a lot higher these days but people get greedy and it wouldn't surprise me if we seen another scandal at some point.
That was proved not to be one of the games involved.

Still stinks, like.

hmm i used to play for whitehawk in my hay day. shocking stuff.

The National Crime Agency has revealed that two footballers from Brighton-based Conference South team Whitehawk FC have been charged over match-fixing allegations.

Michael Boateng and Hakeem Adelakun, both 22 and from the Croydon area of south London, were charged with conspiracy to defraud contrary to common law.

An NCA spokesman said: "The Crown Prosecution Service's Organised Crime Division found sufficient evidence and was satisfied it was in the public interest to authorise charges."

The two men have been bailed to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on December 11.

Boateng and Adelakun are the third and fourth people charged in connection with the investigation into an alleged international illegal betting syndicate.

Chann Sankaran and Krishna Sanjey Ganeshan were charged on November 28 and remain in custody.

I remember an incident at Goodison a few seasons ago. My first thoughts were
that there must have been a bet on it. Kick off, ball played back. belted into the stands.
Throw in within seconds.

You know bookmakers could stop taking bets on things like which scrub playing in League V gets a yellow card if they want to put a stop to this.
