With the Masters starting on Thursday, who are people backing to win the famous Green Jacket this year?

So far I like the look of:

Matt Kuchar
Jason Day
Dustin Johnson
Steve Stricker
Sergio Garcia
Zach Johnson
Bill Haas

Will probably get that down to 4 when I put my bets on tomorrow

Backed Snedeker for a bit of interest at a decent price but I think its between the 3 favourites - McIlroy, Scott & Lefty. Kuchar is a good shout though

...Kuchar for me at this stage @22-1 with Paddy Power paying 6 places. I do think the time to have a decent bet is after the cut when you get fabulous odds on players who are within striking distance of the lead,

Betting is not something I know much about, so dont really do it much.

But betting on golf is such a shot in the dark, it is unreal.

But love The Masters me. Fave major by a mile.

£0.50 e/w on Miguel Angel Jimenez, Fred Couples and Stewart Cink

Have a decent record with the Masters, picked Schwartzel in 2011 and had Cabrera e/w last year when he was pipped by Scott. Few of my picks have started well but it's early days.

Yeah he's a great player, was close to winning it in 2012 but was pipped by Bubba in the end. Couldn't believe he was like 80/1. Only problem is that he has bad back problems, so he might deteriorate over the weekend.

Pretty consistent to be fair though. Made a good start and got a punchy sort of style which I quite like. Better putter than you'd imagine as well.

Yeah he's got a great swing, so compact and rips it. Big time, putts really well on these types of greens, I remember him holing everything the last time he came close so hopefully he hits a nice streak.
