When I saw the thread title, I honestly thought it was going to be this video...

kinda cool, ken block is the most overrated driver ever though... nothing but a show pony

he got badly shown up when he tried WRC and V8 Supercars, miles off pace.

I wouldn't say he 'got badly shown up'. He is just nowhere near the league of WRC drivers. Remember, he is a skater kid who made a heap with DC and then used that money to fund his car driving. He might not be a first class racing driver, but he can certainly put on a show for entertainment, which is half of it really.
 

Agreed, he can put on a show... just grates when i see people going on about what an amazingly talented driver he is (not talking about anyone here)
 
He is an amazingly talented driver though. Just not WRC league.

You at least have to have some talent to compete, and in reality he was only given a works drive because of his media pull. Same with pay F1 drivers. They are still bloody good drivers, just they lack the 2% extra that the world class drivers have. I think Block is in that category.

Still....bloody good youtube fun though.
 
And seperate to this......

Did you happen to see Seb Loeb DESTROY the Pikes Peak record, and DESTROY his closest 'competition' (I say that because in reality there was no competition for him)????
