So maybe not all of Connecticut is boring

Connecticut is a great state! I very much enjoyed my time there! Not only is it the "submarine capital of the the world" (the sign you will see if north bound on I-90 after going over the Gold Star Memorial Bridge), and home to the puddle pirate Academy, there are places like Mystic hidden away that have lots of character to them!

Also, Fort Griswold in Groton.....where Colonel William Ledyard was cut down with his own sword by the British Officer he had just surrendered the fort too.

Don't even think of Niagara. Way too far out of the way.

My family Used to have a house in bar harbor when I was a kid, love that place.

Don't know if you are into beer but you are going to be in the top rated place for IPAs in the world. They are everywhere.
