Mass stabbing in Sydney

Some nutter has gone through a major Sydney shopping centre with a large hunting knife stabbing people. So far, six are confirmed dead. Several more in hospital in critical condition. A police woman shot the guy who also died.

Tragic.

Becoming global this sort of nutter. As a species in our different societies we need to start looking at the causes that drive people to this kind of thing, rather than just lamenting. Nothing to lose? Frustration? Perceived unfairness? Too many are trapped in that well.

The baby is still alive, but her mother died while receiving treatment in hospital.

If you're that jacked off with life, bail out (as tragic as that is), but why take innocent people with you? Senseless.

An Assyrian Maronite priest was stabbed around the head & neck & two or three others received wounds trying to assist him.

A couple of thousand very angry people gathered around the church. The perpetrator is still inside.

This could kick-off big time in western Sydney if he is Muslim - which initial reports indicate he probably is.
