Mason Bennett....please take a look mr Moyes

In keeping with Moyes' habbit of picking the best english talent I would like to put forward Mason Bennett who has scored a brace for the England U16's tonight and I have to say I'v not seen a 15 year old (who looks 18) look so calm infront of goal since a certain Mr Rooney.

not a knock on the lad but i dont expect the ireland youngsters to be very good which gives Bennett more time on the ball to look calm. our young strikers will be better :) where theres Hope theres Hallam lol
 
Why wasnt Green playing in this game? Surely he should be if its his age group and hes supposedly the next big English thing?

Sad but true. I played Sunday League with a guy who played U16 for England. Couldnt make it at Bristol Rovers as a pro. Funnily enough, he played with Nicky Tanner who ended up with the RS, and a guy called Stichy, or something like that, who played for Wimbledon in their 1st Div days. Far better player than either, but thought he had made it at 16............
 
well i can tell everyone on here now with having first hand knowledge on mason as i work in the p.e. department in his school. he is a class act unbelievable player who will no doubt be playing premier league footballer within 3 years.. also everton i think tried to get him when he was 14 but no such luck... great lad with a great future ahead of him... COYB
