Mascots v City

My two boys were the mascots yesterday. Had a great day apart from the game. Kids loved it and it was great for me too as I got to go into the Everton changing room before the match with them. Great experience. Got photos with the players and their shirts signed. Manchester City treated us brilliantly too. Overall a special day for the kids.

.....and fair play to Everton for giving this away to season ticket holders rather than selling it off.

Not really. Went in and they had music on really loud. Leon and Kev were having massages the whole time. Most were just listening to music, on phones or reading the programme. Roberto and the coaching staff were in a separate part reading the programme. Bobby had an iPad with some tactics on it (didn't work). Bobby and big Duncan chatted with them a little. Missed out on a few. Sylvan and Eto'o weren't about. Shame as the youngest likes Eto'o but can't complain.

I uploaded a few photos to facebook and that one got loads of likes. He was great. Had to tell him I had Ferguson my shirt when I was younger. He probably didn't appreciate that

Cheers mate. Only got the call off everton the week before. Originally they said it was for just one child which was my eldest as the season ticket is in his name. My youngest was devastated as he loves football. Anyway, after speaking with City they said he could be mascot also so it turned out ace. Will get the signed shirts framed for their rooms.

Yeah, shame about the match. My wife decided to come with them being mascots. She's never watched a match on TV or been to a game.....ever. Her first experience was yesterday in the away end. Let's just say I don't need to worry about her wanting to join me on match days. Still wife free
