High street shopping woman expert thingy has used her brother as a sperm donor. Apparently this is old news - I did not know this.
I listened to her on Billy Butler last week and she seemed perfectly normal. This however, is not, I don't think.
I have a daughter and a son on the way, and I know I'm very fortunate for us not to need any assistance - if folk need donors to have children then that's fine if that's what they want.
But surely not from a family members' member, and certainly not from a sibling?
It appears that the headline is misleading - he did donate, however it was to Portas' lesbian partner, who did all the giving birth stuff.
Still, discuss.

Mary Portas on media reaction to brother's sperm donation
High street guru Mary Portas told 5 live about the media reaction following an interview in which she revealed the father of her child was her brother: 'We were paparazzied and doorstepped for days'. The Channel 4 presenter said she hadn't want the story to be 'a big headline' but added that she 'doesn't regret a thing because so much good has been done'.
