No disrespect intended to our former manager at all. But now that he is gone I have a few Rs supporting mates taking the piss who reckon that Roberto was a bigger failure at Everton than Rodgers ever was at Liverpool. There are obviously many similarities between the two:

-They both managed Swansea, with very similar styles of play
-They both adopted (or at least tried to adopt) those styles of play into their new clubs
-Both gave their clubs one of the best seasons they'd had in a while
-They both couldn't organize a defense worth a damn
-They both spent just about 3 years at their respective clubs

Obviously Rodgers spent a shed load more money and went from nearly winning the league to mediocrity, but we also went from 5th in Roberto's first season in charge to the bottom half of the table in his last two. So who do you reckon was the bigger failure, who is the better manager?
