I thought it might be worth remembering some of Roberto's reasons for our poor form this season. Perhaps as a from of catharsis or maybe just for the 'laugh'. Here's a few that I can remember. See if you can guess which matches they refer to.
PS I've put a few in that I may have made up (but I'm not sure that they're any more flimsy than the originals)!
The game turned on two goals in 3 minutes
We controlled the tempo
They've changed the route of the number 17 bus and it no longer goes direct to the city centre
We lost because we missed a penalty
They've discovered a colour print of an old David Attenborough naturalist programme. I feel that this goes some way to explaining our poor league position this season
He was offside
I'm sure that there's plenty of other pearls of wisdom kicking about. I'll miss them when he's (hopefully) gone.......but not that much!
