Certainly that one quote in isolation is dumb. I don't have a problem with the rest of the sentiment though.

Spot on. We lost because yet again we can't defend a lead. Get over it, move on and learn to defend a lead.

Last time I checked, catching a player offside was defending??

we drew because we couldnt hold a 2-0 lead , end of story.

So for future referrence, defending a lead means making sure you're at least three goals clear in case the oppo get a lucky deflection and an offside goal allowed? How should we defend a 1-0 lead guys, and top advice for that, or just more Bobby-Bashing?

People moan on here that our players don't harass the ref like other teams, then tell Bobby to take it on the chin. Makes sense. Bet you all think he should bring up past incidents before games to influence the ref like other managers do? Or talk about all the Pens AJ used to get?

Statement makes less sense than Bobby's. If you know he chats tripe to the press, why get upset about what he chats to the press, as you know it's tripe? Tbh I can't believe people are taking this as if he actually means it. For once he's doing what people always moan about our club not doing, and trying to put the spotlight on poor decisions costing us points (and that is the only thing that did against Chelsea, whether the haters like it or not), and get us more favourable treatment in the future, so maybe we don't get Clattenburged again any time soon.

People are miffed at losing leads which happens but to us seems to happen a lot under Martinez.
Whinging about or to the ref is pointless.

i agree as well.

Why the FA cannot intervene in situations like this is beyond me. Its clear how poor the officiating has got to in this country.

Any case of retrospective points awarding, surely after the game finished AND offside is pretty high up on a list of wrongs to right?

If they did, then we would've been beat by city the last time we played them in the league and the cup. Stones murdered Sterling in the box and it was a stone cold penalty. It's swings and roundabouts mate. It all balances out in the end.

Totally agree. Can only see us kicking on from here till the end of the season.
We're now at mid January and only lost 5 games obviously just drawing too many.
Would be more worried if we we're losing too many and think now the team will click together and push for our best season finish since 1995 if not better.

Haha, fair enough, but surely whinging on forums is as pointless as whinging about refs, in which case better that than whinging about our own team/manager when arguably they/he don't really deserve it?!
