you`re right.... anyway the intention of my post was not honorable - i wanted to poke a hornets nest. any anti-everton stuff invariably brings up `you shoulda gone down instead of bolton`. meaning - the ball crossed the everton goal-line - they conveiniently miss the bit were southall gets barged.

He hasn't refereed against us since the 3-3 draw with Utd , Moyes and Round tore strips out of him after that game, granted he has shafted us in the past but IMO we were never going to win that game with him in charge, as soon as we got the upper hand Rodwell was off simple as.

You start dealing with this sort of crap rather harshly (retroactively if need be using video evidence), and you'll clean up a lot of what's ailing the game in a heartbeat.

most of us were expecting the worst from Atkinson, but we will all quietly forget it til the next debacle.
