Bluekipper reckon we've agreed a deal to bring this lad to us in the summer.

I'd be delighted. I've seen quite a bit of Marin and I think he'd be a tremendous signing - he'd be loved here. A winger who attacks the full back, pacey... think Pienaar v2.

He won't come cheap.

He's either 19 or 20, and is a full German international.

I was talking to lcab and monty a while back before we played Benfica and I said I'd love a player like Di Maria or Marko Marin at Everton, clearly absolutely no chance with Di Maria now, I suspect the same would be true with Marin if we waited.

Would be a very shrewd signing again from Moyes.

I hope this is true. It's about time we did our business early. It would make a hell of a lot of difference to our season.
 
Watch out for Bayern going in for him. They have a longstanding policy of weakening other top sides in Germany by signing their best players. I'm wondering if Pienaar, Marin, Bayern and Everton are somehow involved in some kind of bizarre "love", erm, square.
 

Speaking of City, ******* hell Adam Johnson didn't take long to step up again did he. Looks a steal at 7mil or whatever it was if he can maintain it.
