All I remember about Hughes is the ball breaking to him in a Derby match at Goodison and it looking like it would be a real chance. He was so slow by the time he reacted there was about 5 Liverpool players between him and the goal.
Edit: Completely wrong, he was actually in on goal and then did this...

I can’t stand the man but even at his age, the way he could kill a ball dead with his first touch was very impressive
