Hughes never took them down Harry did, I know he helped like but Harry spent loads in January and had an equally poor record with them.

Weren't they on like 4 points from their first 12 games when he go sacked? if harry was in charge i think we'd have seen them finish with at least 10 points more.

He's the lower mid table equivalent of Benitez. Truly astonishing how they get the jobs they do.

I thought with Pulis leaving ( did he jump or was he pushed ) Stoke showed a bit of ambition to, for want of a better word, better themselves

Maybe they did but is this the way to go about it

I doubt it

"Don't judge me by what happened at QPR".

Fine then Mark, we'll judge you on Man City, where you made horrible buys, were tactically inept and proved yourself to be a classless toad in the transfer market.

Hughes works best when he hasn't got tons of cahs to chuck around. Blackburn and Fulham. Stoke do seem to spend money. This could be quite entertaining when he buys chod and relegates them... (prays)

Its the perfect job for him, he has no expections other than to keep them up, which he should manage, Stoke have cash to spend and I think he will do ok.

Thats not to say hes not a terrible Manager with the morals of a snake.
