Mark Duggan's killing was lawful

with it being a handgun aswell it would of made things more complicated as they are easily concealable and can also be mistaken due to their size, (its one reason why they were banned after the dunblane massacre due to the way they are easily concealed) if he had a rifle or shotgun etc. then its a different story but in a split second decision had the officer thought he saw what looked like a gun in his hand he has to make a split second decision or it could be a gunshot to the head to the officer.

Was he shot still sat inside the taxi?

READ THE INFO DEREK.

The inquest will tell you all you need to know, allow me to break it down, yeah. Theres 2 versions :

Version 1
This fella was on his way to subway for a foot long, next minute yeah these bizzies just started blazing their gats, like bang out of order.

Version 2
Scumbag went to pick up a gun, got shot, justice served.

Hahaha I can hear all the 'bluds' walking around Luton talking about this now using version 1.

I really don't like our country very much. Well I do. But I dont.

Den leeve den efcnik.

Ok mates x

No mate go and tell them that 99% of the time the Police do a good job, see if they appreciate it.

The 1% of mistakes should be 100% eradicated.

Nobody's arguing its not a tragedy.

You're arguing however that the police force should consist of robots. Not a single person in any line of work anywhere in the world doesn't make mistakes, that's human error. Some lines of work, that 1% is more costly than others.

according to the news he did have a gun but threw it away just prior to the taxi being stopped, Duggan was killed sat in his taxi holding an item which I think was a phone, the police would of opened the taxi door and would of had to have made a split second decision when most likely out the corner of their eye saw him holding something in his hand, now considering:

. he was a dangerous gangster
. they had a tip off he had a gun and was going to use it on someone to settle a score
. he had history of gang violence

for me that justifies the police officer shooting first asking questions later, this wasn't an ordinary Derek Bird type of guy rumoured to have a gun on him it was a known dangerous gangster rumoured to be on his way to murder someone, he is no different to Dale Cregan and had the 2 female officers had the opportunity to have shot that evil [Poor language removed] and saved their lives then I don't think anyone would of had a problem with that.

There was no evidence presented that he threw the gun out of the car. The gun was found 20 yards away behind a wall and to the left of the car. Not the first time there has been an innocent man killed on the streets of London. Jean Charles de Menezes for one. Irishman Harry Stanley who was 'rumoured' to be carrying a rifle but was in fact a wooden table leg.

Either way, was it a valid excuse to riot? To cause further disruption to others lives and livelihoods?

No, of course not.

As CCF says, no one and no organisation is perfect.

If you have an issue with the way we get policed in thsi country go and live somewhere - anywhere - else for a couple of months and then come back to me.
