But he was my favourite Australian criminal (after Ned Kelly), and he's sadly passed away of liver cancer...

Doubt remains about whether or not he did actually cut off his own ears while in prison, but there's no denying the fact he actually had no ears............ "how does he smell?" "TERRIBLE!"

Like him or not, he was a very entertaining character...

RIP. Chopper was a nuts film! Feel kinda bad being so fond of such a character tbh, but what can you do! :o
 
Loved the film, he was utterly mental and some of the you tube clips of him are great. Not to everyone's liking but despite his crimes I liked him. Didn't realise he'd been ill. I expected him to eventually go out in a blaze of glory taking on the taliban or something mental.

Well if it what he said was true, he only really committed crimes against drug dealers and gangsters, so don't worry about it.

But on the other hand I think he had some domestic violence issues too so you're probably right, soz.
