He has massive potential & yes he had a hand in the first goal of the semi final but he stunk at Wembley & constantly gave the ball away with his back to goal & against a half fit jags.

It's Very early & overall I do think he does look the real deal just needs more time.

I also think he has the frame to put on weight & not lose pace so may well be able to play upfront alone once he learns to play with his back to goal but it's very early.

He is along way short of martial currently but has time.
I was away for the semi and haven't been able to force myself to watch it since. Glad he had such a poor game though:)

Agree he's not a back to goal striker. Touch and vision are not obvious attributes at the moment and neither would I say it's a given that he'll develop them given time. He's similar to Rom in that respect but with better balance and technique. But other aspects of his game make up for it.

I'd have him in my team ahead of Martial tbh. All day. In fact I'd be happy to sell Rom if we had him lined up as a replacement.

Fair play you make a decent case & by the sounds of it you have seen him more than me. Personally think martial is the best young player in the Prem by a mile.

We were awful at goodison last year but every time he got the ball you could just tell he had it.

He is a rolls Royce

I'd go with that too

When he's on the ball there is just something about him that screams top player

Not sure what it is like, but it's there

TBH mate I'm normally only really interested in Everton and our players. Obviously I knew about Rashford and seen his goals on TV, but never really taken that much notice. It was only the under 21 game during the week. As there were no Everton players on show I decided to concentrate on Rashford and see what all the fuss was about. In fairness it's not too often you see 18 year olds scoring on the full England debut.

The best qualities he has cannot be taught, which I suppose you would expect for an 18yo. His physicality reminds me a bit of Michael Johnson, the American sprinter. His mentality seems fantastic for somebody so young. Couldn't believe the way he handled the post match interview when the BT interviewer was trying to get him to comment on him being left out of the full squad (fat Sam was watching the match by the way). His technique looks spot on too. If you get the chance, google the penalty he scored for his hat trick in the under 21 match. Reminded me very much of Del Pierro.

I don't see playmaker qualities in him at the moment so not sure whether he'll become an all round striker like Suarez. But he does appear to have the technique and awareness to have these skills coached as he get's older. In my view, neither Rooney or Owen were ever better than when they were 18/19, so who knows. Absolutely confident he'll still be totally boss though.

Obviously you see Martial in the same light so I'll keep my eye on him in future. I thought it was Rooney who bossed the Goodison game last year, but at the time I just put the whole debacle down to us being poor. It was a strange atmosphere that day.

I think he's a future star but there's no way Man Utd will sell and I think Jose will be forced to play him in every game due to how poor Utd are playing.

I like Martial as well. If I was Jose I would play those two off Ibra and Pogba or Mkhitaryan behind.

Thankfully Jose won't at least not yet.

I think he's excellent, all natural if you ask me, he's got that knack that you just can't teach.
We've got a ridiculous culture in the UK of either overstating young players or continually belittling their ability and/or potential.

No wonder we do woeful in competitions as there's no actual real support mechanism for youth players and don't allow them to actually develop

See Kane - people still criticise him and question his ability when he's got a scoring rate of almost one in two over two and a bit seasons.

It's too early to fully judge Rashford yet, but as you rightly say he's looked a natural finisher and been excellent so why not support him.

I think he looks great - definitely comparable to Owen & Keane when they were just breaking through. Obviously it's still very early days, and a lot of what he will manage to accomplish over the next few years will be down to him alone and his desire to put football first. TBH that's where most young promising players trip up.

While I agree that his own level of motivation and effort will play a part, I'd say Manure under José will also play a huge part in his development.

With the form he is in combined the influence he has shown that he can have on a game, then really you'd justify he should be starting.

But José is more convinced with playing trusted, experienced players rather than youth, so unless that changes he may have to look elsewhere.

He looks boss right now but no one pays attn to you until you have success (this goes for players and clubs). Then the coaches/scouts start breaking down what you do well/tendencies and take that away from you. Its too early to tell, but he's a damn fine prospect.
