Marcus Hahnemann

I still don't understand this... I've been thinking about it for a few days and honestly I'd rather have McFadden back than another 'keeper.

What do we need Mucha AND Hahnemann for until January? Do they carry around Howard in a mobile throne or something so he doesn't hurt his legs?

It just doesn't make sense! If we injured both 'keepers we can bring in an emergency loan 'keeper anyway... what the hell is the point?

Lol! I sincerely hope this is the case.

its because we are going to spend the arteta money on another keeper in january!

I don't see the rationale for it. We got 2 keepers, Howard is never injured and in a disaster Jags could play the position. Marcus is a cool guy though so there are worse guys we could be paying Evertonbucks on.

Would have rather had Faddy.

If we are to win a cup we cant play Mucha in goal. He is well gash :(

Some folks in MLS think this is a way for Hahnemann to keep training until MLS takes him in January (their off-season). There are a few teams that have had GK problems, and Hahnemann is good enough to start in the league (though his age gives him maybe 2 years).

If this is the case - we could be doing this in exchange with the league for an unnamed favor, and/or paying Marcus the equivalent of peanuts in exchange for having a "just in case" GK training for a few months until he goes back to the US of A.

Before anyone jumps at me for saying why are we making bets with MLS - it's what our budget can afford.
