Wasn't Earl the Pearl the signing that ousted Matt Jackson? I don't know why Royle didn't rate him, but he (Jackson) was a key player with goals and assists in our 95 cup win, as Barrett was (mercifully) cup tied.

Yeah earl then hottiger, i always prefered jackson, one of the few things that annoyed me about big joe
