Still think he's a great player

He's a better player than Fellaini, I wish that wasn't the case but I look at it with an open mind. Fernandes has more potential than Fellaini and will be a better player. He simply has more attributes and more strings to his bow, that is quite obvious.

Have you looked at his passing stats from last season? They where at 79% which is very good. That's on par with Pienaar and Arteta who are considered our best passers. He gave the ball away in dangerous areas when he was unfit, when he was fit he didn't.

A sign of a top player is someone who is willing to step up and try hard things. Whether it's a through ball, a long pass or a long range shot. Manny wasn't scared to express himself, even when the crowd where on his back. He isn't going to just pass it sideways and shirk responsibility.

He has his faults, no doubts about it but to say he was only good for two games is rubbish. The majority of his performances in his first season where of a good quality. In his second spell he was inconsistent and very poor at times, I'll admit that.
