‪#MCFC‬ Wow !Roberto Mancini is quitting City to take over the Russian job on 15 July. He's penned a €7.2m/per year deal (via @arturpetrosyan)

could this be true?

he'd be stupid to do it. he's just won the league, he can try and build the best team in the world with the fortunes he can work with. would be a very bad move for russia as well though, i don't rate mancini at all, think he is clueless at times, just has a very good squad

all sorts of weird stories about contracts signed weeks ago, 22 million euro compo packages and stuff like that.
another twitter feed has 3 different managers nailed on for the job - a different one named every 12 hours or so.

7 million for a dozen or so games? Kin hell. Anybody would be crazy to turn that down.

Of course, I mean why have the pleasure of having the likes of Nasri,Dzeko and Silva to play around with when you can have Arshavin and Bilyetdinov

Russia have an improving league, but it will be years before it is on par with the premiership and la liga. Nevermind the german, Italian and French leagues.

Mancini is at the best club in the world (excluding history) - or atleast it will be in about 2 or 3 years - with the freedom to sign whoever he wants - in the best league in the world. He aint leaving.

The Barclays Premier League winning manager had not put pen to paper on a new contract provoking speculation he was considering a move away from England.
But on Monday he finally committed his future to the club and said he was 'delighted' to have finalised the deal.
