Warzycha's Caterpillar

Player Valuation: £8m
So we lost on saturday. After the match I posted the following message and was taken back a bit by his reply:

"Congrats mate. I thought we defended really well. Got a little unlucky with the first goal but the second was world class. I didn't think we played too badly, Webb had a shocker mind!"

His reply: "Sorry to say mate your the worst team to watch that I've seen all season. I agree about Webb there is no way you should have finished with 11 men. The systematic attempts to knobble silva mainly ... No ambition .. After 20 mins I thought that we were playing Napoli again but realised we can't be cos they actually tried to break "

Jeez...these guys have really short memories don't they...

He is probably correct

Don't be embarrassing us on other sites again. We're Everton not Shrewsbury.

i was ashamed of our performance. we couldve at least played saha ffs. no outlet at all. feel sorry for the evertonians who paid to watch us play like that.

OK. Guess I was wrong then. Still, I'm fairly sure they were parking the bus last season. Also, interesting to note that as the 'worst team they've faced' we were also the team to concede the least goals against them so far.

PS I didnt think sending them congratulations and saying that their second goal was world class was "embarrassing us" on other sites. I still don't think we played too badly. The players played to a game plan. Sure it was a horrible game plan, but they carried it out fairly well IMO.

Hey. Don't you talk no sh*t about Shrewsbury. That's a club with history and fine tradition of league football (usually).

If they'd only have started Chris Neal instead of Benny Smith in goal against Arsenal, the game would have been turned on its head. Not to mention the absence of big man Steven Leslie commanding the middle and the premature substitution of honey badger Sean McAllister and Lionel 'Messi' Ainsworth, who, his blistering pace, tears up the wing.

Shrewsbury sit atop the League Two table. Mark Wright was a solid acquisition from Bristol Rovers and has really solidified 'Town's attacking front. Shrewsbury's stalwart defence has never been in question as Ian Sharps and Shane Cansdell-Sheriff have, with an array of new signings across the back, held opponents to an average of 1 goal per game for the past 50 league matches.

I've actually only watched Shrews twice and don't know much about them aside from that Joe Hart was stolen for half a million from them a few years back. Sack their board ffs.

I wholeheartedly disagree with a lot of people about the performance Saturday. I was proud of them. I thought they fought hard. Of course we have to play defensively when playing them away. They've just spunked over 100 million on players of real quality and are a match for anyone in Europe now, the bellends. I thought we had a game plan, stuck to it and were it not for a deflection, might have got something out of the game- a point which I thought we deserved. They're just annoyed because they wanted to beat poor old Everton by 5 or 6. Well we didn't let that happen and as I say, I felt we were unlucky not to come away with a draw. I'm sorry but I don't see the harm in parking the bus when the odds are stacked against you. It's not pretty, and it's frustrating for the opposition and the neutral, but who gives a ****? We need points, and that was the best way to go about it. If we play attack v attack they will beat us everytime. The counter attack of Aguero, Silva, Dzeko and Nasri is absolutly minging to think about. They would have spanked us. We kept it respectable and were unlucky. The players fought for the shirt. As mentioned before, I was proud of the lads on Saturday. The spirit was back. The fight. And whilst of course I'm not happy about a defeat, I really do feel it is ON again.

I hate City more than the RS. There, I've said it. At least the RS are a big club with a history, and even though they are also arrogant bellends, at least they have something to be arrogant about.

That city fan is an idiot.

Didn't spot Ballotelli raking Jagielka's achilles?

Saha being upended and Webb waving play on?

The City fan is an idiot end of.

Anyone that agrees wiith his assessment is a manic depressive that is too down on Everton.

Man City are depressing to watch, they are almost as bad as Villa.

I can't believe people are saying he's completely spot on.

I agree about our actual football, or lack thereof, but to concur with the ludicrous idea that we kicked silva off the park is staggering. The only nasty challenge in that game was the one on Cahill that saw him go off injured. Silva wasn't kicked off the park, although his cries of agony and roly poly theatrics certainly helped to convince the ref he was. The Nev yellow comes to mind.
