Off to do the manchester 10k run now. wish me me luck. Ran 54 minutes last year. Dont think will get that this year as running with the wife
I was gonna do one in Aberdeen today but last night's wine has advised me not to, so I'm off to Maccies with the kids instead.
I have only done two 10K's done them in 42 minutes, pissed me off the way I didn't go sub 40 the second time when I did the first 5k in less than 18 minutes, the tunnel 10k is too hilly for me.
I'm planning on doing the Liverpool 10k on June 10th, been out this morning, completed the distance in just over 44 minutes![]()

These are great times boys, don't think I could get anywhere near those,
Thanks for all the messages guys, really really enjoyed it supporting my wife in the run, she/us ran 1.15 which is 10 minutes faster than her best. Proud of her. I will be running again next year and will grounder 50 minutes. Recommend it to anybody.
Half marathon should be a good one. Thinking of entering the great north run in oct time only problem being getting accommodation at that time is a ball ache and if you do get it, it costs a fortuneThis. I ran a few 10ks and an 8 mile race a few yrs ago, think my best was 45m something... 18m for 5k is well good isnt it?
Nice one. I'm supposed to be doing a half marathon in Windsor in October. Really need to start running again!!![]()
