Villa started out the season well, defending like world cup winenrs, and all was rosey at villa park. So much so that a lot of evertonians were spouting off about o'neill being the perfect candidate to replace moyes and pointing to how well he had done instantly at villa and also to his previous record at leicester and celtic.

Well, villa are 13th on 32 points, with a negative 5 goal difference.

i wonder if those same fans still want o'neill in to replace moyes.

Well i for one never wanted him to replace Moyes.
As for Villa, they started the season well like you said and they were the last side to lose their unbeaten record, as you all know we were second last.
Villa seem to be the draw specialist this season hence their slide down the table.

If Moyes ever needs replacing then he might be considered but his track record only glows in Scotland where his team beat the other team from across Glasgow to keep on winning the league title. That job is so difficuly Gordon Strachan can do it;)

his leicester days do him great credit. lets see how he does at villa, i suspect he will spend big in the summer. lets be fair, he is working with david o'drearys squad at the moment.

i still have faith in moyes, and i went to the blackburn FA cup game.

I think o'leary is a good manger but there is only so much you can do at villa or was with the previous chairman.

Look at o'leary's record with leeds, its good.

well money can't buy sucess, how does he compare with say liverpool or newcastle in money spent?

O'Leary lost the dressing room at Leeds and again at Villa. He is well intentioned but not really up to it imo.

you can tell a lot about a manager by how they fair when times are bad.

everyone is prepared to win, its how people manage in adversity that shows their true character.

it shall be very interesting come may watching stamford bridge.
