Are polls about Martinez (and in general) a good thing or a bad thing?

For the first time this season I am in the Martinez out camp...and I am resolutely not moving from it. We have not improved one iota all season. Against Newcastle, in the first 5 minutes we were lucky not to concede from a corner. Martinez is a shocking manager.

The problem with them is that they offer no timescale.

As in, if you vote 'out' you mean right now, this minute, get on the blower Bill.

Whereas you might have taken the view that you have lost confidence in the manager but don't think that a change should be made until say the end of the season.

But there is no option to vote for that. So consequently the results suggest that the views of fans are polarised on the issue which is not necessarily the case.
