Interesting reactions

We got beat by a team that was 20pts ahead of us before the game started, still it will be interesting to see the same reactions when we go to Old Traford next season minus MF, LB and David Moyes.

haven't read the whole thread and I apologize if it's been said already. Throughout that game, esp 2nd. half I couldn't help but think (constantly) how much we need a player like Fer, someone to out the tough tackles in, pick up the ball and charge forward with it. It would have given us another dimension, made Utd think a bit more and probably enhanced our other options. Gibson is Gibson and still trying to find his form, even when he does he is limited (but effective enough for our purposes), Osman needs a rest, his seasonal purple patch has come and gone, he needs to regenerate / regain his focus or both.

Thought Diame in the earlier game looked impressive too and similar to what I believe Fer would bring to us.

I think it'll be the end of the season before it dawns on the club what a massive c*ck up it was to not invest in a few players in january when we genuinely had a great chance of getting champions league.....

have to agree that it seems that way.

It's fortunate that we have Oldham next as I wonder how we would fare against another premiership side, no matter who, we just about drew with Villa who next game look like a different side and struggle against West Ham.

As has been said teams have figured out how to play us, Osman offers nothing these days, Mirallas yet to hit anything resembling form, inconsistent strikers. At this point I'd give Oviedo more game time just for his pace and effort and give Stones a run too at RB, bit of youthful exuberance and energy seems to be what we need and frankly what other option do we have ?

A bit late, I know, but having another look at the match today, I was reminded that a commentator - don't know who he is but
he sounds like he'd be more at home at Twickenham - said as they were about to kick off, ' Everton haven't beaten Manchester United in any of their last five meetings, anywhere.'

And he's paid for that drivel.
