Man City fans leaving early

Can't help but notice the volume of Man City fans leaving early, having watched MOTD last night. Their ground was half empty at 4-1 up.

If we had a team as good as that, you'd want us to play everyday. I know there are some valid reasons for leaving early, but it does appear as though they get fed up and leave early.

True, that is a valid reason.

Yet, it still seems as though they lose interest easily. Many fans on their phones during matches.

I mean if you’re 4-1 up and they’re just passing around I’d probs get bored a little.

There may well be some difference in opinion on this but I wouldn't leave at 4 - 1 up, even if it is just passing around or the game has died off. If I was a neutral, I'd probably stop watching.

Where is the jeopardy when you know you are going to win every game?

It's like Football Manager, once you crack it the games become a procession.

Personally I am a big fan of Guardiola trying to increase jeopardy by giving Arsenal a leg up and sidelining himself for a bit

But when Nathan Ake would be 13 teams top scorer then something has gone wrong with the game.

Competition has been subsumed by entertainment the league will need another overhaul before the decade is out.

It's always been a problem and existed when we were cack. Not the worst in the league for leaving early though, that would be the rags and then Arsenal.
