What are your thoughts on the GAs decision not to discipline Mackay. Is it a good decision in law, or is it a tentative admission they can't do anything about bigotry in football ?
You can't change a racist. In which case what authority does anyone have to be telling a racist what he can and cannot say in private to a fellow racist? I would suggest the answer is none. We are all free to think what we want and thank christ for that.I like that the reason they aren't getting bans is because they said what they said thinking it was only in private
So the FA is bascially saying you can be as racist as you want so long as you say it without intention of people finding out
Totally misses the point IMO
He got caught, so should face the music

Precisely, and the end of liberty as we know it -- a very dangerous road to be going down.Obviously he's a bit of a knob, but the verdict/non-verdict makes sense.
If they start doing people for what they say in private it'll cause all sorts of trouble.

That's my over riding thought on the matter
