Ralphie Boy

Player Valuation: £8m
With all the rumors of us being linked with loanees and RM stating he will be using the loanee market once again are we looking at yet another snub by the owners in providing the funds to take us to the next level?

If this is the case, would we be looking at a real push to get rid of the current board?

Knowing the approximate amounts of funds available is the boards unwillingness to spend a sign that they don't care, are placing it in the other operating costs or we are all just going to plod on?

I say this as every year I keep saying I am not going to renew my ST but always do and then say next season unless their are changes and I still renew.

And all we hear in the media is everyone either linked with half decent players and some actually buying them to us being linked with donkeys and then panic last minute?

And I'm also very bored!!!!!!!!

Nah I'd say it's a good point mate.

If ever there was a summer you'd think we'd be spending big then it's this one. What with TV money and a boss prem finish.

But no. Looks like we'll be scrimping again.

AND IT STINKS.

wouldnt rush to conclusions just yet lads.

im convinced that we'll have great window. There will be loans but there will be marquee signing too.

That's a good point mate everybody knows about the TV Money so there is really no excuse for at least committing £20 million nett on improving the team but we all know it wont happen.
There are many on here who keep making excuses for Kenwright and the gang,I would like to ask the question at what stage would the board become undefendable?
Another pre season selling more than we buy ?
5 million nett ?
10 million nett?
You must have a breaking point what is it?

Everton in a relegation battle or to be relegated is the only way the fans will turn on blue bill instead of

All the rumours linking us with bargains and loans would discourage any potential decent signings, it sends out a very poor signal of intent to be linked with nothing outstanding.
On top of that, experience tells us to expect nothing so we don't get disappointed when it turns up :)

depends what you believe.

martinez has said he will use loans to bolster the squad, there's nothing wrong with that imo, the number will come down over seasons as we buy more permanent players, we need about 6/7. you would think it would take us a £100m splurge to get all those players on perm and quality enough. look how that planned out at spurs. i think even if we had the dough, martinez wouldn't do that, he'd gradually build over a couple of seasons adding 2/3 at a time so they can gel better into the current team as well as using loans to make us progress as a team at low cost to be able to afford better calibre players the next season etc.

suppose we should all chill and wait until this current window is over, see how much we spent etc. and then evaluate and see how we feel.
no reason we shouldn't be spending a big amount, but we don't know the figures, we know they're making expenditures on off-field things and we don't even know how much we've spent on players yet.
