For all the Mad Men fans out there, what did you think of the season premiere? I thought it was a cracker. I would destroy Megan FFS.

Basically Jock, it's about a man called Don Draper (a 60's J Dawg I like think)

What's it about?

It's about life in an early 60's advertising firm. The term "Mad Men" came from the Advertising firms in NYC all being on Madision Avenue, in addition to the lifestyles they led.

It's by one of the writers on the Sopranos, so think Sopranos without the violence, but with more sex. Same pacing, feel, character development. It's just an awesome show. Very meticulous in the detail of presenting life in the early 60's, and as the show has gone along, they've dealt with the historical events of the day through the prism of the characters as well.

It's as good as TV can get, I think.
