onto the last episode of this now, after 3 in one night last night. Here is my mini review.

Luthor is good, but not great. I have really enjoyed it, but a lot of the storytelling in a series so small makes half of the program pointless. After 6 episodes the sub plot of the second series is revolving about a girl who he is trying to help. Why? there is no substance for that, just throw it in and go with it as they say. It is a shame because the murder stories, although not realistic are fantastic to watch. Certainly each crime has been entertaining to see how they catch them, highlight personally for me being the role playing murders from season 2.

Luther as a character is really string, and Idris elba is a fantastic actor. However such short series combined with silly plotlines prevent my from actually connecting with him as i would normally do if i had spent the last 20 episodes or so with them.

In summary, well worth the watch by all means, but don't expect some fantastic program when you do. You will enjoy it, but will forget it by the time the next big thing comes onto our screens. I hope Idris is moving onto bigger things though, and the luther movie is already got my money.
