Seeing Bidwell won the under 18's player of the year (I think) and Garbutt looks to me a better, more complete player, although he's been playing left mid....have we saved ourselves from bothering to buy a left back cover this summer?

Past couple of seasons, the biggest nightmare we could have had, would have been an injury to the legend known as Baines. Think it looks a bit rosier here

I went to school with Garbutt as well.

Ive seen Garbutt probably five or six times and hes always impressed me.

I personally from what ive seen think hes a better left sided midfield player than at full back , Good energy , lovely left foot very much in the Baines style.

Gone on loan to Cheltenham. Wonder if this is part of the deal that brought 2 of their youngsters to us?
