Which player will score more Premier League goals this season ?

..... There is currently a little side bet going on within the forum, regarding these two players and the goals they score.

Roydo believes Sturridge will score more. I think Lukaku. The loser has to wear one of these two pics as their avatar from the end of current season until the start of the 2015/16 season.

I'm leaning towards lukaku, sturridge could easily miss over 10 league games this season with niggly injuries.

In my defence, I only made the bet to illustrate the point, in a heated discussion in the summer, that thinking a RS player is ok does not deserve the title as a Kopite.

That is in no way a pop at my opponent btw!

Sturridge is the better player IMO, but Lukaku will score more this season.

Currently Sturridge is the better player, but that is only going off last season when Suarez was setting him up with assist after assist. I think over this season Lukaku will prove he is better, and he is obviously younger, and much less of a cart than Daniel.

If both were fully fit, Sturridge would make my 'Merseyside XI ' ahead of Lukaku. But Sturridge has 4 years on Lukaku. I would hope and expect Lukaku to replace him in a couple of years.

...as for the bet, Sturridge or Lukaku, I think it needs a little framework eg minimum games played 25 and goals /game. This condition allows for injuries, suspensions, rotation etc
