Was out on a works night out last night and a couple of the guys were Man U fans.
Apparently the vast majority think he is either not good enough , first touch is rubbish, lazy , immobile , or should be moved out to play on the right side.
With Mourinho probably on borrowed time , and with our lot still apparently able to spend.
Would you want him back , and at what price ?

Was only a matter of time before they started saying stuff like that imo. Hes not good enough for a club who want to win the title. Compare him to kane, the front players at rs, aguero etc and hes too one dimensional. Hes a brilliant goalscorer but he does limit a teams capability.

Deffo have him back like, our best striker in my lifetime but shows how bad we've been more than anything. Wouldn't even make it int a United best 5 forwards for the last 10 years.

I used to criticise him because he had obvious deficiencies, and imo that was fair enough.

But he scored 20+ goals a season absolutely no bother and at the moment we have a striker who is seemingly physically incapable of scoring so I know who I’d rather have leading the line.

He was good for us but at our level, he was never going to be good enough for United who have title winning ambition, however United are no longer the side they were under Sir Alex, so there just going to have to deal with no longer being so spoilt
I wonder if the fee is held against him by United fans, for what they paid you would expect a lot more, just like us with Siggy perhaps, 75m was crazy
As for having him back, why, he didn't want to be at Everton when he was an Everton player, you cant miss a player who has no interest in playing for you.
For what its worth i do think he is a good player, but nothing amazing, which is why Vardy scored 4 more Premier League goals then him last season
