As far as i am aware, fifa's rules state that you cannot register for 3 clubs in one season??? However there is a lot of talk on other websites suggesting we have made an official enquiry to bring him in on loan in january, if we do a deal then he will have to play otherwise it becomes a pointless exercise, my concerns would be that vellios would get even less game time, however i do think he is quality and will at some stage go on to become a top top player, so if we get the chance to have him in the blue then we should take it.

I'd be surprised if Chelsea let him go. I know he's not first choice now but Anelka's off in January whilst Drogba, Kalou will be at the African Nations Cup leaving them with Sturridge and Torres only. There is also talk of Torres going.
